We are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help us at our Kids Corner, helping kids with a variety of fun and educational activities. Kids Knitting it Forward

Calling all kids and teens! Have you ever wanted to learn to knit? Join Kids Knitting it Forward and learn to knit or improve your skills. We will make items like baby socks, hats, and red scarves for charities around the St. Louis area such as Newborns in Need of Eastern Missouri and HavenHouse St. Louis. Meetings are held one Wednesday evening a month at the Ladue Middle School Library and one Sunday afternoon a month at the Kirkwood Public Library. Experienced adult knitters attend meetings to assist young knitters. Members under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. A Girl Scout Gold Award Community Take Action Project

 

Children’s Museum
