Best Buddies is an international organization that strives to normalize friendships between people with disabilities and people without them.

Conservation Club

The club hopes to provide opportunities for students to take direct action on environmental issues by participating in service/volunteer opportunities and other efforts to raise awareness of sustainable alternatives in everyday activities.

Doorstep Donations MICDS Chapter

Doorstep Donations combats food insecurity by bridging the gap between donors and food pantries. Upper School students pick up bags of donated food from MICDS families' homes regulary and deliver to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.

Hospice Club

Students in the Hospice Club make cards and crafts and cook meals to let people nearing the ends of their lives know that people are thinking of them.

This is the MICDS chapter of Statice, an international student-led non-profit organization dedicated to advancing global adolescent health literacy. This club focuses on health-related research volunteering, which includes researching diseases for posters and blogs. Our goal is to proliferate accurate health resources to adolescents globally while improving the research, graphic design, and writing skills of its members.

US Bridge Mentor Program

The US Bridge Program is a two-day orientation for incoming students new to MICDS at the Upper School level. US Bridge Mentors are assigned one (or more) new students to mentor.
