Doorways
Ages: 16+
Since our founding as a hospice in 1988 to serve people dying alone and homeless, abandoned by families, DOORWAYS has evolved to offer six platforms of housing services and remains the only agency dedicated to HIV housing and supportive services. Serving over 3,000 people a year takes a team of dedicated board members, leadership, staff, interns, and volunteers. We can use help indoors and outdoors with data entry, monitoring the front door, filing, painting, gardening (raking, weeding, planting, mulching, trimming), cleaning, and plenty of other projects.

St. Patrick’s Center - Women’s Night Program dinner
Age: 14-17 with parent/guardian, 18+ independently
Each night, 40 women stay at St. Patrick Center as part of our Women’s Night Program. Volunteers (2-5 people) are needed to plan, prepare, and serve dinner each evening. Your group gets to choose the menu! You would be responsible for the cost of the meal. We ask that you do not bring any casserole dishes (rice, pasta, etc.) since this is what is served for other meals. You can prepare the meal offsite and drop it off or serve it yourself. You can also use our kitchen to prepare the meal.
