What does the Missouri House Rabbit Society do?

“Utilizing foster homes as well as The Bunny House shelter, volunteers provide appropriate care and socialization opportunities to rabbits so that they may be adopted into loving, permanent, indoor homes. About CARE:

The goal of CARE is to educate students on the health and rights of animals while providing fun and enlightening service opportunities for animal benefit. MICDS will gain a greater understanding of overall animal welfare and how to help make positive change in the animal community (political movements around animal welfare, volunteering, etc.). Students are able to participate in field trips and community service opportunities to help specific animal groups in the St. Louis region.

About Sustainable Futures:

The goal of the Sustainable Futures Club is to help members of the MICDS community to live more sustainable lives. The club hopes to provide opportunities for students to take direct action on environmental issues by participating in service/volunteer opportunities and other efforts to raise awareness of sustainable alternatives in everyday activities. In addition, the club aims to partner with organizations, such as the Missouri Department of Conservation, to provide experiences in the outdoors that will increase members' appreciation for our local ecosystem and teach valuable outdoor skills.
