MICDS students cook dinner for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House
MICDS Students Prepare Food for the Ronald McDonald House
MICDS students devoted their Friday night to preparing meals for the Ronald McDonald House. This was a great way to earn community service hours and have fun as the students listened to some fun songs while cooking grilled cheese, soup, a beautiful salad, and chocolate-chip and sugar cookies. The students showed a great amount of initiative and respect as they cleaned and put away all their dishes from cooking. Good job students!
Quote:
"I have volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House since I was a little girl and being able to give back to our community and feeding those in need, even if it’s just one family, means a lot to mean. It doesn’t matter how many you serve but rather the intention your heart does it with." - Estephanie Estrada '21

Volunteering:
"Volunteers make the difference in the lives of all the families that come through our doors – cooking, hosting, listening, nurturing, or by simply being there and helping out in any way they can. In fact, RMHC is supported by 536, 213 volunteers who dedicate their time, talent and resource to RMHC helping to offset costs and allowing the Charity to direct more donations back to programs supporting children and their families," (Ronald McDonald House).
